ABOUT SARAH

Sarah Gonsalves co-founded Sarah & Sandeep in 2012, bringing with her a refined design sensibility shaped by formal training in fashion design and garment construction at the London College of Fashion. Her global experience working with leading national and international labels sharpened her perspective on the evolving needs of the Indian menswear market. She recognised a distinct gap—an absence of an Indian bespoke label that could deliver impeccable fit, contemporary design, and uncompromised craftsmanship.

Before launching the label, Sarah and Sandeep undertook extensive research across England and Italy, studying the nuances of traditional bespoke tailoring. This foundation led to a brand that celebrates form and function in perfect balance.

Sarah’s vision is rooted in creating custom garments that honor individuality and cater to the diverse body types of Indian consumers. Her aesthetic is defined by refined minimalism, technical precision, and a modern approach to silhouette and structure.

Her contributions to luxury fashion have been widely recognised. She has been featured in Black Book India’s 100 Most Influential in Luxury (2017 & 2019) and named in GQ India’s 100 Best Dressed in 2019.

ABOUT SANDEEP

Sandeep Gonsalves, co-founder of Sarah & Sandeep, is widely regarded as one of India’s most stylish men—a serial sartorialist with an instinctive command over contemporary menswear. Armed with a Master’s degree in Business Management and experience leading brand-building initiatives for multinational companies, Sandeep brings both creative insight and strategic acumen to the label.

His collaboration with Sarah stems from a shared desire to reimagine modern Indian menswear—infusing classical tailoring with futuristic clarity. Sandeep’s design language is defined by geometric symmetry, sharp silhouettes, and a sophisticated approach to structure. His work seeks to reconstruct traditional menswear through the lens of the avant-garde, catering to individuals who value precision, modernity, and quiet luxury.

Sandeep has been featured in GQ India’s 100 Best Dressed (2017 & 2019) and frequently contributes to international media as a menswear expert and commentator on contemporary fashion.
